Refugee Artists at Lilongwe International Festival of Arts

The 1st Lilongwe International Festival of Arts will take place this Saturday 5th June and will feature amongst others:
BURUNDIAN DRUMMERS
BURUNDIAN TRADITIONAL DANCERS (Women)
CONGOLESE TRADITIONAL CHOIR (Women)
the above are all refugee artists from Dzaleka refugee camp, keeping their cultural traditions alive despite displacement. We are so proud that these groups made it into the programme and we hope that the audience will appreciate the rich heritage of Burundi and Congo through their performances.
